Congratulations to Emily Hu, on her receipt of the prestigious Henry Rutgers Award!
The Henry Rutgers Scholar Award of the School of Arts and Sciences recognizes graduating seniors who have completed outstanding independent research projects leading to an interdepartmental thesis or a thesis in their major field of study. The awards are offered across all departments of the School of Arts and Sciences, and so represent only the very finest achievements of our students.
Emily has been working with us since Fall 2019, and has been an active and well-liked member of our group. The Henry Rutgers Award acknowledges her achievement over the past 4 years at Rutgers, and in particular, her honors thesis research “Porphyrin-fullerene electron transfer systems”. She graduated with the highest honor. We will miss her in the group, but wish Emily a bright future!
