Mark is a double major in chemistry and molecular biology & biochemistry and is part of the 2023 graduating class. Mark joined the Zhang group in 2019 and has an interest in exploiting the oxidative properties of fullerene materials for cellular targeting and rejuvenation of damaged, diseased, and aged phenotypes. Outside of the lab, Mark takes pleasure in interacting with the community and is a volunteer at his local medical center. He is a passionate teacher and enjoys his roles as a fellow mentor, academic tutor, and English teacher for adult learners. In his free time, Mark is also a member of the archery community as a barebow archer!
