Yue graduated from Wuhan University in China with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2018 before she entered Rutgers Chemistry Ph.D. program and joined Zhang group at Rutgers. Her research currently focuses on synthesizing material molecules containing endohedral metallofullerenes (EMFs) as building blocks and exploring the properties of the EMF derivatives.
