Akshay Kamath – Undergraduate researcher 2017-2018
Akshay Kamath is an undergraduate junior of the Honors College, Rutgers University, studying at the intersection of chemistry, biomathematics, and statistics. Upon manifesting his interests in applying chemistry to the advancing field of medicine, he joined Professor Zhang among other team members on account of their concurring missions in research. Outside of academics, Akshay volunteers for several community-based service projects, heads a nutrition-based startup, and plays the piano.
