Kira is part of the 2027 graduating class at Rutgers University and is a prospective Molecular Biology and Biochemistry major. She joined the Zhang group in the Summer of 2023 and has since then developed a strong interest in fullerene derivatives and their applications in cancer treatments, specifically photodynamic therapy. In her free time, Kira likes to read and play tennis. She also works as a tennis coach and racket stringer at a local tennis club.
